Can You Tell Me About My Vintage Brooch?

I have a gold brooch with a turquoise stone in the center and five gold pieces dangling from the bottom. On the back it has v197 and underneath what appears to be an upside-down rocket. It's such a pretty piece, I'm eager to find out whatever I can about it. Can you tell me anything about it ie. its age, when and where it was made, what each symbol means?
