you won't be able get a valuation until you work out what the black material is made of. It could be a cameo of a male figure backed onto onyx hardstone. Also ANY distinguishing marks on the metal ring band or on the cameo would help here.
Is the male full figure or head and shoulders? You can't rule out the possibility of black jasper - meaning a Wedgwood Cameo Ring. Solid Black Wedgwood was in production 1778, 1826, 1866-1941, 1948-86, and was phased out by 1977 except for collectors items.
