Hi - I've been scanning the net for ages for a simple gold test and came across your comment. Could I ask about step 1, the magnet test and also step 3, the gold solution test. what is the name of the solution you mentioned below? Thank you in advance for anymore info about this gold test!

Check it with a magnet 1st. If they do not stick to the magnet continue to step 2.
Step 2 Check high points for areas where the gold color has turned a different color .
Step 3 If all else fails you can buy a very inexpensive test that uses a stone and solution to easily determine gold content. Hope this helps ! Good Luck !
