Hi Rachel thanks for writing in.... the mark is that of the London jewelry manufacturer - Berker Bros. A prolific jewelry manufacture of wedding rings.

The crown is the UK gold purity mark, the quality and indicates the fineness of the gold.

The N letter is known as the date letter. You will have to cross reference and match the date letter (and the shield it appears in) with the date letters that appear in the London date letter chart. You can find the London Date Letters in the link to the date letter chart here...
