Unfortunately I have to agree with Marga..
there is no way to recover the luster your pearl once had. Pearls are an organic material and chemicals will cause irreversible damage. Many cleaners contain ammonia, which cause deterioration. Rub the pearl along your teeth. A natural pearl will feel gritty and a faux pearl will feel smooth like plastic. Sorry I don't heve better news for you.
