Hi Cathy what makes you think it's a markers mark? The Egyptian standard mark for Gold is a Seagull.
Please have a look at this link: https://www.antique-jewelry-investor.com/egyptian-gold-marks.html

I have a gold ring, art deco, upper side slver with four spinels or rubys and three diamonds, lower part gold with a strange bird that has three small pieces in her "mouth", 585 and letters OW or GW, do you know anything about it?

Egyptian Gold Mark by: Yvonne
Hi Bob, it looks like the sea gull to me, which is the standard mark for Egypt.
Within the first shield is 18ct written in Arabic script. The last hallmark, after the Egyptian standard mark, the sea-gull, is the Egyptian date letter, after a long examination with my jewelers loupe, this gold mark which I can just make out is the Egyptian date letter mark, and is the Arabic letter Dal - English equivalent to D.
This gold wedding band was made in Egypt 1999-02 or 1951-53. In either case, it is not an antique gold wedding ring.
