Asahi Pearl Necklace Value

Aloha,

My father gave me my grandmothers Pearl Necklace 10 years ago. They are Asahi Pearls from Tokyo. I have never worn them and I would like to sell them. Can you tell me if I have something of value or should I hang on to them or pass them to my granddaughter?
