Antique Wedding Ring

I have my great grandmothers wedding ring, it is white gold with 14K stamped on one side of the inside of the band, and on the other side there is a star followed by 2 symbols that look kindof like the word 'OF' but the bottoms were cut off. So it looks like an sideways C with the opening at the bottom and a sideways L. following those symbols is an 'A'. Anything you could tell me would be much appreciated!
