antique wedding band

This ring was my grandfather's and I'm in my 60s. It is stamped with a crown and another symbol that's too small to see even with a loupe, but it looks like two dots or eyes & other marks I can't distinquish yet. It's also stamped 22k which I know. Do you have any info on the marks?
