antique diamond engagement ring?

Hi, I inherited an engagement ring five years ago, I believe it belonged to my Grandmother, it is tiny, size K, It has 3 stones and engraved inside is 125 & what appeaars to be 1863 and the word PLAT. Do you think this is an authentic antique diamond engagement ring?
