1960's Pearls What Are They Worth?

I inherited 3 years ago a 14 inch (when doubled) strand of pearls. There are a total of 87 pearls on the strand.
My mother in law told me she purchased them in the early 1960's. She lived in San Leandro, CA. area.
Do you have any idea of what range they would be worth?
The clasp has 14KG inscribed on it.
