1938 "Cartier" Enameled Blackamoor Fur Clip

I believe I am the owner of a very Special Cartier Blackamoor fur clip.I found another one listed on the internet the same piece to a T... except the "Cartier Paris" Signature.

Could it be that the one in my possession might be one of Diana Vreeland's Original Blackamoors before signing on with Cartier, or could it be a missed stamp.

Any info and appraisal you can give me about this piece would be appreicated.
