14K B&F Ring

I have an emerald (3 stones) marked 14K B&F that is supposed to be my grand-mothers (at lleast 100 years old) but I cannot find anything on it. It is most likely made in the U,S. Hope you can help me. I also have my grand-mother's signet ring signed R F in fancy script and under that 14K with a letter M sideways ( the bottom of the M facing right. I probably was bought in RI. Thanks
