"rolled gold" mesh chains were popular in the UK circa. 1880s. If it's marked 14 K and ITALY, chances are the material is most likely solid gold and would indicate the bracelet was made for the foreign market. The continental system prefer the millesimal system. The Italian marking system is quite confusing. I would have the Bracelet professionally appraised.
