12k Gold Cross

I have a small gold cross that is marked 120-12k does that mean it is 12 carat gold? I was reading about British jewelry and something about 12 carat beginning around 1854 and discontinued in 1932.

Can you please advise me about this piece of jewelry and how I can obtain it's value?
